Additional Golf Cart Lift Kit Information

Golf Cart Block Lifts are the simplest and most affordable option, typically involving spacers (or blocks) that are installed between the cart's suspension components. This type of lift is ideal for those who want a subtle increase in height while retaining the cart's original suspension. Spacer lifts allow for larger tires, which can improve traction and ride comfort, all while being the most cost-effective option. They are easy to install and often require minimal mechanical knowledge.

Golf Cart Spindle Lifts provide a more significant height increase, usually 3" to 6", by using blocks placed under the cart’s existing leaf springs in the rear and replacement spindle assemblies in the front. This type of lift is particularly effective for those looking to enhance a cart's ground clearance, making it suitable for rough terrains. Spindle lift kits are typically priced between block style and a-arm style kits. Spindle kits may require more installation time and mechanical skills but offer more capability for off-road driving and oversized golf cart tires.

Golf Cart A-Arm Lifts involve replacing the cart’s front suspension system entirely. This type of lift provides the highest elevation and is ideal for more serious off-road enthusiasts. Not only do you gain ground clearance, A-arm lifts also provide more front suspension travel and flexibility which allows for better performance on or off the trail. These lift kits tend to be a bit more stable than the spindle variety as well. However, they are a bit more complex and generally more expensive, requiring a good mechanical knowledge to ensure details such as dialing in the front end alignment for optimal performance and ensuring there will not be premature tire wear. Ultimately, different lift kit types cater to different driving styles and preferences, making it essential for golf cart owners to choose the one that best suits their needs.
